Our client have an opportunity to join a growing company who focus on the manufacture and supply of carbon fibre components to the aerospace industry.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a role for an experienced composites professional with significant hands-on knowledge of cleanroom operations, best practices and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
> Lead Composite manufacturing improvements, including identifying & delivering future composite cleanroom development projects.
> Being involved in developing processes for new and upcoming programmes for key aerospace and defence customers
> Assist in the development of future processes to enable the continued growth of the Teledyne CML manufacturing capabilities
> Aid and advise cleanroom staff on best practices and principles.
> You will be at the forefront of manufacturing change management to aid in future proofing the composites business.
> Internal Customer/Supplier interface on specific projects.
> Assisting the Engineering & NPI Manager in developing current and future capability models
> Be responsible for the well-being and Health & Safety of yourself and fellow workers.
Qualifications & Experience:
> Experienced composite professional, demonstrable experience in pre-preg hand layup techniques.
> Ideally have experience of training/developing/mentoring of junior colleagues within composites manufacturing.
> Experience of working with and aiding in the development of Composites Manufacturing processes
> Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
