If so, we have an exciting opportunity for yourself! A position has arisen for a Chief Engineer - Electronics / Analogue & Digital, based in Oxford.

Due to continued growth our client are seeking a Chief Hardware Engineer - Analogue & Digital to join their diverse engineering team where you will be responsible for developing mixed signal schematic and board design including high speed data interfaces and low noise analogue.

You will also be responsible for liaising with Directors & executives, carrying out board level technical briefings & managing critical projects.

In this Chief Engineer - Electronics / Analogue & Digital the successful candidate will be involved in the following activities:

> Liasing with Directors & executives, carrying out board level technical briefings & managing critical projects.
> Mixed-signal schematic and board design including Analogue & Digital, high-speed data interfaces and low noise power supplies.
> Hands on design and development of FPGA/VHDL platform for highly sensitive, low-level current detection system, in particular, hardware control and communication interfaces.
> Designing low-level interfaces to communicate with other extension boards, Low noise, multichannel system design and development.

To apply for this Chief Engineer - Electronics / Analogue & Digital position, you must have a combination of the following skills:

> A degree in Electronics Engineering or similar Engineering subject.
> A high level of experience working in a Hardware Engineering covering analogue & high speed digital hardware design, and in the use of schematic capture, layout design and design simulation tools.
> Experience working alongside Director, Executives and Customers to make important decisions & carry out meetings/briefings.
> FPGA/VHDL development skills.
> RTL design and verification using VHDL.
> Board level design experience.
> C programming at a firmware level (e.G. For microcontrollers).
