Job description

Our client design and manufacture a range of complex electronic components that are sold all over the world. They are seeking an experienced Certification Manager - Electronics to join their Engineering department. My client is based in a state of the art engineering facility in Devon.

You will have a team of 3 engineers, and will be responsible for managing the activities of the Certification Department to meet project requirements and support other investigative and approval work.

You must have a strong background in the electronic engineering sector, ideally with some experience of medical devices.

Certification Manager - Electronics skills and responsibilities will include:
> You must have experience of getting electronic / electro-mech products approved.
> You'll have prior management / team lead experience.
> You'll be used to working very closely with design teams, providing advice on products going through R&D.
> Obtain and maintain approval from UL to conduct in-house testing under their Client Test Data Program and Customer Testing Facility Program.
> Act as a consultant to all internal departments, our customers and sister companies on matters concerning EC legislation, safety and the Agencies.
> Experience in complying with Electronics, Medical or Laboratory standards (60950, 60601, 61010)
