This Cell Manufacturing Engineer Job will allow you independently manage the manufacturing process within the allocated cell by the design, maintenance and continuous improvement of the safe and LEAN processes for existing and new products.

The Cell Manufacturing Engineer will join their growing team and be part of their continuing success and based at their site in Eastbourne which is commutable from Brighton, Worthing, Crawley, Battle and Rye

Key Responsibilities for Cell Manufacturing Engineer Job includes:

> To create, develop, implement and maintain Cell manufacturing system layout.
> Detailed process analysis and development to identify waste and implement efficent methodologies using appropriate 6 Sigma and LEAN tools.
> Coordinate and support root cause investigation and solution implementation for external rejects with SQE department
> Encourage innovation to reduce costs and workflows and guarantees the feasibility and reproducibility of the process of the allocated manufacturing cell.

Essential Skills/Knowledge required for Cell Manufacturing Engineer Job includes:

> Previous experience of producing high variety, mid volume, electrical products where reliability, functionality and aesthetics are critical.
> Experience of working within an assembly environment.
> Degree in engineering.
> Firm knowledge of a variety of improvement tools Lean, 6 Sigma, DMAIC.
