Job description

C++ Software Engineers - to work on Video, Graphics, Networking research and real product development. Cambridge - to £ 75K, to work on products that are only just technically possible !

Strong C++ development experience from within a complex data environment ? Looking to be involved with more than just cutting code ? This could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

If you enjoy agile software development, then the good news is, you will be joining teams that use industry best practices and guiding principles that include responsiveness, trust, aspiration and audaciousness. We are pioneers in Agile, we teach Agile, we run Agile workshops to give back to the dev community. We also invest in the best tools to give you the most productive environment, such as custom built rooms for our scrum stand-ups. You also get to work flexible hours to help fit in with your lifestyle and to enjoy impressive facilities - multi-kitchens, free food and drink, pool, break-out rooms, all within an informal and high calibre, yet very friendly and supportive environment.

The company are a very successful, highly profitable Software and Chip company who own the very lucrative technology space that they work in. They are rapidly expanding, building their complex IP into new, world leading Graphics, Video / AR / VR products. They are developing exciting, working, world leading technology technology where their competitors are visibly (in one memorable case) failing. As a result of this success, they are looking for a number of skilled C++ Software Engineers, with low level development skills, to join their impressive R&D facility in Cambridge, to contribute to new technology development, for new products, to be used by even more new customers.

You won't simply cut code - you'll contribute significantly by engaging in discussions and exploring potential alternative solutions or new applications for existing solutions, or running with an entirely new concept that you've dicovered, you get the idea. You will also participate in the analysis, definition and time estimates of features and projects. This is a chance to grow your technical and team leading abilities.

So ,if you have solid C++ and a real understanding of low level hardware and systems (ideally with experience in areas such as compression, decompression, optimisation and cryptography, Real Time Operating Systems) and would relish the prospect of working with like minded Engineers who are the best in the business, then please get in touch.
