Our client is a specialist niche power and analog semiconductor manufacturer who are growing their European sales organisation with the addition of a Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager, based in Italy (home office) to take responsibility of Southern and Eastern Europe.

Duties of the Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager - Semiconductors will include:

Definition and implementation of strategies for fast, profitable growth.
Develop OEM and the distribution channel via a range of sales strategies.
Acts as one point of contact for customers and build strong relationships and collaborates at all levels to deliver solutions.
Understand both South European and the Eastern European markets defining SAM/SoM by major market segments.
Regularly meet with the Key Accounts and join visits with other Team members as necessary.
Develops, maintains and shares Account Plans and track achievements and meet sales targets.
Drive design win programme and ensuring effective communication throughout the organisation
Own contract negotiations and meet profitable agreements
Maximise channel strategy, drive & manage resources in the channel (distribution, VAR) efficiently.
Provide product and pricing information to the business and customer base.

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager - Semiconductor will have the following attributes

Extensive sales and business development experience within the semiconductor arena
Self-starter with initiative and the will to succeed A natural communicator developing relationships internally and externally.
Polished presentation skills.
Ability to solve basic technical issues.
Fluent spoken & written Italian and English.
Knowledge of semiconductor design win activity in other territories such as Poland, Romania, Hungry, Czech Republic, Spain, France as well as existing Italian market knowledge would be beneficial
