My client who are one of the UK's leading contract electronics manufacturers (CEM) are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their busy sales team. The primary function of the Business Development Manager is to maximise the profitable sales of the company's services/products and drive new business opportunities. This will involve travel throughout the UK and will be a homes based role, but you will be needed to attend regular sales meeting.
Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
> To generate sales leads and develop business either with existing and/or new customers
> Liaise with Purchasing, Sales Director and Managing Director on quotations and orders to ensure that all customer requirements are communicated clearly to the team
> To provide monthly Sales Forecasts
> Follow up quotations and visit reports
Skills required for the Business Development Manager job:
> Proven Sales track record for companies which purchase electronic components and/or assemblies and sub-assemblies.
> Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
> Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
