An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager, to join a leading distributor of passive, magnetics, and electromechanical components.
The job will be covering a set area of the UK (dependant on your location) promoting revenue growth and market development for a broad range of electronic components, suitable to the needs of highly diverse technology markets in the Defence, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, and specialist Automotive industries. This is a home-based role, with the occasional visit to site as and when needed.
Duties for the Business Development Manager job will include:
> Visiting customers directly to promote the company's products
> Building relationships, training & motivating the sales teams of the distribution partners
> Following up of existing projects to ensure the project moves from design through to production
> Prospecting of new customers
> Managing existing accounts
Ideal candidates for the Business Development Manager job will have:
> Previous experience in an external sales environment within the electronics industry, specifically Passive Electronic Components
> You will be strategic, analytical, capable of presenting solutions to customers
> You will be a self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision
> You have the ability to visit customers throughout the UK, with the occasional visit to the site in Mid-Wales
> Experience in a sales role within Defence, Military, or Aerospace industry would be a plus but not essential
