Job description

A leading manufacturer of network connectivity solutions has an exciting new job for a Business Development Manager - Fibre to join with a primary focus on the sales of Fibre network connectivity throughout the South of the UK.

This job opportunity has arisen as part of the business' strategic plan to generate new business sales of fibre connectivity products through demand creation methods.

The main responsibilities for the role of business Development manager - Fibre are:
- Account management of existing nominated accounts with the objective of growing sales and increasing the number of products sold to the accounts with particular emphasis on new products.
- Aim to develop relationships with key stakeholders, in the identified target sectors, raising their awareness of product ranges, specifically for fibre. Target sectors include: Dark Fibre Providers, FTTX Providers, Content Providers with their own networks, Specialist Fibre Installer/Contractors, Specialist Telecomms Consultants and emerging local, including urban and rural FTTX networks.
- Ensure that you develop relationships with End Users to ensure that the product offering is known and well understood to ensure that this manufacturers products are included in any subsequent tender process.

- Proven sales background in fibre based products.
- Proven experience in developing new business.
- Based in the South.
