An outstanding career opportunity for a Business Development Director- Renewables has arisen to join an innovative, market-leading and award-winning designer and manufacturer of affordable solar power storage solutions. With the renewables energy market having enjoyed sustained growth in rooftop solar pv installations in the UK over the past 5 years, the business has designed, patented and manufactured what has been described as the most affordable and practical solar energy storage system in the UK Market.

In reaction to the energy storage market now entering an exciting new phase of growth, we are actively seeking an entrepreneurial and equally dynamic Business Development Director, with previous experience in Renewable energy, based within a commutable distance of London to join the senior team and lead the business' sales and marketing activity and drive future growth.

To be successful in this Business Development Director job, you will have:
> Proven experience in managing, negotiating and winning sales contracts (Ranging from £100K-£1M+)
> Ability to close sales
> Previous experience or network within DNOs, Social Landlords, Housing Associations, Grid Operators, Electricity Suppliers etc…
> Proven senior business delivery skills, both direct with business partners and via channel/distributors.
> A passion for the renewables, battery storage or energy sectors, with direct experience being of great benefit but not essential.
> Proven experience building and delivering a sale and marketing plan, including your ability to adapt and overcome changes in market conditions, and achieve planned deliverables.
> Ability to identify and create new opportunities, using lateral problem solving and business development techniques that create new revenue streams for the business.
> The capability to act as the “the face” of the business, driving PR, internal and external marketing strategy, including inbound marketing and market development hand-in-hand with resellers/distributors.
As Business Development Director- Renewables you will be fully accountable for delivering the sales plan and heading up all sales and marketing activity for a truly exceptional business at the forefront of the solar storage technology sector.
