A part qualified or qualified by experience Accountant opportunity has become available due to substantial growth which this company has seen continuously over the last few years, winning contracts internationally. They provide robust systems for business including monitoring systems for various applications, offering a one stop solution for every client.

The opportunity:

An Audit Senior is required by our client based in Milton Keynes, which is one of the leading Accounting firms with multiple locations across Herts, Beds, Bucks and London. With a solid partner base and over 120 staff they provide solid advice to both companies and individuals across a full spectrum of accounting services from Statutory Audit through to Tax Planning. They are market leaders covering division such as FCA regulated businesses and charities, media, education, to name a few.

They are looking for someone to lead audits under guidance of the Manager and will gain the opportunity of leading the on-site audit teams on behalf of the business. You will also covering the planning, completion of procedures and the preparation of management letters. You will also get to enhance your experience of supervising more junior staff and will oversee work based training for trainee staff.

Another great addition to this opportunity is that working closely with the Manager, you will gain the opportunity of working on special audits including; pension schemes, charities and other not for profit organisations.

Many of the people working at this firm have progressed to more senior roles, so this is a fantastic business to secure a position in.

The perfect candidate:

This should be obvious, but the ideal candidate will ACA or ACCA, part qualified with at least 1 year's exposure of audit from within a UK Accountancy firm and be fully competent on various computer packages. Also a valid UK driving licence, so you are able to visit clients on site is essential, due to not all clients being on a public transport route..
