Job description

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a field based, Account Manager responsible for Specialised Computing Equipment, for a globally renowned manufacturer, with Head Quarters based in Hampshire. This job requires you be based in an ideal location of Nottinghamshire.

This £16 million organisation are recognised globally as a design and manufacturer of specialist computer platforms for challenging environments and complex applications. While a significant part of the UK sales team reports into the UK Sales Director in Hampshire, you will be an independent individual who thrives in an autonomous position, with the ability of influence colleagues and clients.

As the Account Manager for Specialised Computers you will be responsible for the sale of a range of specialised computer platforms to strategic key accounts within a range of market sectors in the North of the UK which include, Automation, Communications, Defence & Security, Energy and Transport sectors. You will be working with an established client base whilst also hunting for new sales opportunities within the industry and related fields.

The successful Account Manager for Specialised Computers will come with prior experience in a customer facing account management or business development position with a track record in the Enterprise and B2B sectors. The ideal Account Management experience would have been gained with a manufacturer of computer platforms or related products, however previous product experience selling into the Electronics or IT Technology sector will be considered.
