Job description

Our client is a pan-European sales organisation owned by a major group operating in the semiconductor and electronic components arena. They now have two opportunities for experienced sales professionals based in Germany, ideally Munich, Dusseldorf or Frankfurt, etc.

The Account Manager will support major electronics OEMs within Germany, focusing on design-in and project wins through strong customer relationships and unparalleled support.

Key Responsibilities of the Account Manager;
- Development of business at regional customers in Germany - HQs engineering design centres, etc.
- Develop and enhance new and existing strategic relationships with key customers in the region. Understand the customer´s requirements and their short-, mid, and long-term objectives and challenges.
Identification and management of new business opportunities and bringing the engineering projects through to design win Identify new customers and start-ups of interest. Partner with leading distributors to increase design wins and revenue Communicate with customers and distributors and bring needs back into the organisation. Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Key skills and qualifications required;
- Ideally, a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional experience gained in the design-in of complex electronic components such as semiconductors.
- Min 5 years of technical sales experience demonstrating success to date with strong selling, negotiating, and business planning skills.
- Preferably experience in the semiconductor market gained at an OEM or Distributor with an understanding of customer solution approach.
- Experience in design-win sales in technology. Team player and ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
