Job description

Our client who is part of a larger group, is looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator who will be responsible for accounting complying with IFRS, UK GAAP and corporate tax regulations and compliance. You will oversee and analyse the performance of the business centre in connection with the manager. As the Accounts Administrator, you will also be in control of the sales administration and perform administrative tasks according to the needs of the client.

As an Accounts Administrator, you will prepare and submit the monthly and annual financial reports to the head office and to the group head office, meeting the deadlines defined by the HQ, as well as the monthly costs of sales and different analysis.

> You will pay the suppliers' invoices.
> Perform monthly reconciliation of intercompany invoices via an internal platform and confirmation of intercompany balances
> You will post payments and receipts to other software and subsequent monthly bank reconciliation, including reconciliation of internal loan balances
> Monthly reporting of EC Sales and Intrastat declarations within a fixed time scale to the relevant government body
> Quarterly preparing and submitting the VAT report to the group
> You will prepare the spare parts quotations in response to customer requests and dealing with customer queries in relation to spare parts, including liaising with HQs
> You will Input the spare parts work/sales orders into the ERP and submitting the purchase orders to the Headquarters. Subsequent invoicing of spare part orders shipped.
> Recording staff absences (holidays, sickness, unpaid leave) in the group HR system
> Controlling of employee expense forms and reconciliation of amounts claimed to the individual's credit card statement

The ideal candidate:

To be considered for the Accounts Administrator position, you will have experience in the preparation of financial accounts, analysing the financial performance of a company and will know about customs and excise procedures as well as VAT reporting. You will be competent in the IT domain and have a high educational standard in Mathematics and Accountancy.
