Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, based on the Hampshire/Surrey border, designs, manufactures and sells the world’s most accurate, high-quality sensors and monitoring instrumentation to clients across the globe. Their products genuinely ensure the ability to monitor and protect the planet’s ecosystems.

We are urgently recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding Hampshire/Surrey based team. 
Key tasks include:-
-	Develop the next generation of technically advance measurement instrumentation
-	Design authority for key projects
-	Guide and direct the Mechanical Design Engineering team
-	Design of instrumentation from concept to final product
-	Project management
-	Engagement with other departments and customers

To apply you should have a blend of the following:-
-	Precision mechanical design
-	Project Management experience
-	Experience of leading/guiding teams
-	Worked close with other departments

For this role you will require security clearance so alas we can only accept applications from candidates with a UK passport + proof of UK residency for 5 years
