My client is an established manufacturer of architectural hardware with an enviable range of high end, bespoke solutions complimenting their range.
Due to retirement, they seek an Operations Director to occupy a central role in managing and developing their Staffordshire based manufacturing facility.
The manufacturing environment is relatively labour intensive and therefore people management skills and excellent communication abilities are vital. You will have a demonstrable background in defining and executing detailed plans that include aspects of:
> Plant layout and flow
> Waste Reduction
> Continuous Improvement
> Health & Safety
> Quality Management
We are seeking someone with an eye for detail and one who knows that the aggregate of many subtle changes results in significant overall efficiencies, delivering a superior customer experience and improved financial performance to the business. You will be driven by improvement based metrics and able to demonstrate the significant impact you have had with past employers.
