My client is a technology development specialist exploiting exciting opportunities in the low-carbon / renewable technology market across an integrated hardware and software platform, set to make a major impact in the emergent mixed energy economy for both consumer and business customers.

They are at an exciting and critical stage in their growth as they prepare for a major up scale in volumes and market penetration. Redline Executive is delighted to be partnering them in the search for a Chief Technical Officer.

We seek a talented individual with demonstrable experience in taking a technology design business through a rapid up scaling program. Previous exposure to the ‘steep part of the curve' as a technology business rapidly evolves into a volume provider of solutions.

You will be capable of conceiving and implementing a plan to structure and develop an engineering department with hardware, firmware and e-mech disciplines. Additionally exposure to FMEA, compliance, safety and reliability would be of considerable interest.

I am interested in talking to individuals who have implement structured methodologies (Agile / Scrum) to provide clarity in development cycles across new products and iterative development of existing technologies.

You will have knowledge and exposure to the 3rd party manufacturing environment and be capable of prioritising credible insight and support to the evolving needs of the business as their volumes increase.

You will develop a close understanding of compliance, markets, buying cycles, emergent technologies to ensure the technology roadmap aligns with emergent trends and legislative requirements.

Confident and comfortable in demonstrating plans to existing and potential investors in clear language that addresses the key investor issues.

With a degree in an Electrical / Electronic Engineering discipline you will have upwards of 15 years in a technology leadership role. Exposure to the start-up, spin out, early stage technology environment is of considerable interest.

Preparedness to travel both domestically and internationally in conjunction with the role is essential.
