Redline Executive are retained to deliver into their business a Director - Business Development. This is a business-critical axial role that assumes overall leadership of the business development and requirement capture strategies across a complex and diverse product portfolio. The incumbent will develop and implement an action plan to drive short and long term sales by ensuring pricing, positioning and marketing activities are aligned for maximum impact.
Key peer-group interaction will take place with Engineering and Group Sales to ensure the growth plan is realised and executed through commonly held objectives and a solid business case. The role is a key senior interface with global customers and will play a significant part in strategic senior level meetings.
This is a role that requires a high level of competence in technology definition, combined with sales leadership abilities. You will be a degree qualified industry professional with a demonstrable history in Aerospace, Defence or Avionics. Intelligent and driven you will have credibility in critical customer interactions that require long-term, close liaison over product provision against complex, long term joint ventures. You will be comfortable in managing multiple and conflicting objectives in a calm and measured manner whilst providing clear leadership and direction for your team.
