At Redline Group we don’t just talk about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we do it. A core part of our vision is to use our position to help the wider community and ensure we operate as an ethically sound and responsible organisation. We have implemented a CSR program that ensures we are tackling our responsibility from all angles and give back to the local communities.
We appreciate that our employees feel passionate about particular causes and we encourage and support their activities throughout the year by contributing financially to their fundraising efforts. We believe that charity involves a whole lot more than money. We have a full and varied approach to our participation and support.
Our primary charity contributions during 2017 were towards two charities; The British Heart Foundation and Outspan Rebels V.I Ski Team. We raised over £5K for the British Heart Foundation.
For 2018 we asked our consultants which charity they wished to contribute this years fundraising towards. Mind, is a mental health charity in England and Wales. Founded in 1946 as the National Association for Mental Health, celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2016. Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem and those affect by mental health. To find out more about Mind, click here.
We are proud to support #SaveOurTown Luton, the regeneration of Luton Town by backing plans for the Newlands Park and Power Court development. This dual-site project is the most exciting, ambitious and inspirational development for Luton in decades. It will transform the town centre and help put a sense of pride back into Luton. The proposed regeneration is focussed around two developments. Newlands Park will be a stunning new gateway to the town, at Junction 10 of the M1.
Redline Group was ‘born’ in Luton in 1982 and has remained here ever since. We’ve seen the benefits of previous investments in the town: the rail links, the motorway widening, airport expansion, retail and commercial/business development. As we’ve grown, we’ve also taken advantage of one of the newer development and are now based at The Village, Butterfield. As a local employer of 60+ staff, and with many UK and international visitors, we’ve acutely aware of the need to expand the facilities and opportunities for residents and visitors (homes, leisure, hotels, industry etc.) so are wholly supportive of this, and other initiatives to keep investing in Luton.

Outspan Rebels V.I Ski Team
We’re proud to be the main sponsor of the Outspan Rebels Visually Impaired Ski Race Team for 2017 and 2018. The Outspan Rebels is a collective of Visually Impaired Skiers from across the UK - brought together to introduce visually impaired skiing onto the able-bodied indoor ski race circuit, making the sport more inclusive for Visually Impaired Skiers.
