Field Application Engineer (FAE) opportunity with a Leading Manufacture of Microcontrollers covering the Southern UK region.
As the Field Application Engineer (FAE) you will be field based providing to the Southern OEM end customers and Distribution Channel Partners ,technical, applications and design solutions on a range of Microcontrollers ,utilising previous design and product knowledge gained through education and experience within an Semiconductor OEM or Semiconductor Distributor.
The successful Field Application Engineer will drive 1st level support Design projects throughout the design cycle for direct and distribution accounts.
You will drive demand creation business where you will influence product selection through demonstration and presentation of hi-tech products and development tools. Additional responsibilities include, initial hardware and system level design reviews as well as preparation and delivery of technical training material.
We invite applications from Industry professionals with a detailed knowledge and experience of Hardware/Software design with 32-bit ARM-based Microcontrollers/Embedded Microprocessors, proficiency in Linux, C and /or assembly programming. A proven track record of design and customer facing technical support gained within an OEM Semiconductor or Semiconductor Distributor. BSc or BEng in Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualified with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, commercially astute, highly organised, motivated and able to focus on the end result.
